The Integrated Land Management Bureau (ILMB) provides British Columbians with access to integrated Crown land and resource authorizations, planning dispositions and resource information services. Their mission is to deliver leading edge, timely, client-friendly and responsive integrated natural resource information and services that support a vibrant B.C. economy, healthy communities and a sustainable environment.

Highway Three helped ILMB manage their data by developing a unique tool that puts a web interface on top of Oracle.s Designer application.

The Simple Model Wizard is an Oracle Designer interface written in Java that allows data specialists to create project and models through a web interface. The great benefit of this is that it allows data administrators to set and enforce data standards and QA the model prior to importing the model to Oracle Designer. Upon approval, data models can be exported via XML to a corporate data model repository.

The application utilized J2EE, Struts, WebADE, and Oracle Application Server, as well as strict conformance to established Information Management Standards.
